Client Policy

Client Administration
Landscape is a Client centric system. All operations relating to a Client can be accessed from a single screen. Comprehensive details about each client are held and access to all related data such as the clients account or policies is via a mouse click.

Any client can have multiple policies of varying types associated with it.

The system maintains a full client history so that every transaction is recorded along with the time, date and operator details. Clicking on any history item dynamically changes the data on screen to reflect the data as at the history date. In addition history details can be viewed side by side with current data (or another history item) with the changes highlighted.

Correspondence with the client is accessible from the client screen as are notes and any tasks that have been generated by the workflow system.

Policy Administration
Landscape supports numerous Lines of Business. Currently support exists for Private Car, Fleet (Haulage, Commercial Vehicles etc) Household, Travel, Let Property with more coming on stream. Due to the Flexibility of the rating engine and system design new lines of business can be brought on stream very quickly.

Underwriters can choose the level of detail they wish to store and rate on for any given line of business although by default the Policy screens are extremely comprehensive.

Screens are designed so that important Policy information remains visible at all times while further detail is accessed via tabs in which content can change without altering the view of the main policy data.

The policy administration system is closely coupled with the rating engine. Apart from premium calculation, information such as that available from drop down lists on the policy screens are managed by the rating engine and are product and scheme dependent. The underwriter has full control of content and validation available via the Rating engine. The rating engine will also apply relevant endorsements automatically to policies.

Policy administration can also take place securely via the Internet by brokers or directly by the consumer.

History
A full history of all changes to the policy is maintained along with details of who and when the changes were made. The user can simply click the history entry and the data on the policy screen will instantly reflect the policy as at that date. The use can also see a colour coded representation of two entries showing the changes that have taken place. Full support for Roll back and Roll forward of transactions is supported along with all relevant accounting entries.
